Tehran, June 19, The Iran Project � Iran introduces its investment opportunities and studies its economic business environment in a seminar attended by economic experts in the city of Shenzhen in�China.

Alireza Salarian Consul General of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou introduced the country�s investment opportunities and studied its economic business environment in the seminar held with the cooperation of Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou, Shenzhen Council for International Trade Promotion, and E-Commerce Association.

Salarian pointed to Iran-China good relations and said China's President Xi Jinping's last year visit to Tehran was the milestone in the two countries� relations.

He also referred to the MoU signed between Qeshm Free Zone and Guangdong Free-Trade Zone in the Third Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition in March.

Referring to the Maritime Silk Road Project in the twenty-first century, Chairman of Shenzhen Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ye Jian De named Iran as one of the important countries in the course of this road.

He said holding such meetings can be a proper opportunity for the development of relations and cooperation, especially between the city of Shenzhen" and Iran in various fields.

He also expressed hope that the strategy of �one belt, one road" can develop the relations between the city of Shenzhen and Iran in various fields including economy, trade, investment, finance and tourism.

The three-day Silk Road meeting with an aim to expand economic cooperation among countries lying on the road is underway in China.
