IRNA� Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi said on Monday that Iran should put hydro-politics on its agenda and even regard it much more important than hydro-politics overseas.


Addressing the conference on 'Challenges of Hydro-Politics for Iran and Hydro-Diplomacy,' Araqchi said water is regarded as a global issue and it should be regarded as a grave responsibility to be mulled at the foreign ministry and other organizations.

Global issues are water, thermo, security and international peace along with the issue of terrorism, he said, adding that hydro is beyond capability of countries' authorities, he said.

A Middle East without water will push the people to Europe, entailing regional and international consequences, warned Araqchi.
