FNA- Secretary of Irans Human Rights Council Mohammad Javad Larijani asked for the designation of special human rights rapporteurs for the countries which are directly and indirectly involved in suppressing and killing the regional people, including the US, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Israel.

"Today, the US is one of the biggest violators of human rights in the world and aside from the crimes that they commit in Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan directly and indirectly, all criminals in the world are supported by them," Larijani said on Saturday.

"The Zionist regime and al-Saud which have a high record of child-killing are friends of these countries (the US and its European allies) and the US and countries like Britain sell weapons to them. In Bahrain, people merely want to enjoy the right of one vote for every person but they are suppressed violently and the British prime minister travels to the country in full disgrace and supports the cruel government," he added.

Larijani called for the designation of special human rights rapporteurs for all of these countries.

Elsewhere, he underlined that Iran would not agree to the designation and operation of biased human rights rapporteurs in the country, and said, "Appointment of a special rapporteur for our country is not justified at all and we fully reject this issue and are opposed to anyone that they (the countries which are themselves violators of human rights) designate for Iran."

Larijani had also earlier this year underlined Tehran's opposition to reappointing a special human rights rapporteur for Iran, citing the unfair system prevailing the international human rights criteria.

"Appointing a human rights rapporteur for Iran which has the biggest democracy in the region and enjoys relevant and precise rules and regulations makes no sense at all. It is irrational and unfair as there are countries in our region which are miles away from democracy but still their human rights situation is never mentioned," Larijani said in a meeting with South African deputy foreign minister on the sidelines of the 31st Meeting of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva in March.

He reiterated that Tehran is opposed to re-appointing a human rights rapporteur for the country for another year.

"Iran, like South Africa, believes that the human rights issue is not dealt with fairly at the international level. It has become a victim of politicization by major powers," Larijani noted.

Also in March, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei scoffed at Washington's claim of support for human rights and democracy, noting that the US support for Saudi-Israeli wars in the region says it all.

"The Americans dont have any answers to the easiest questions from the world community. They don't say why they support those behind the ongoing crimes against humanity in Yemen. The don't shy away from backing those behind the ongoing state terrorism against the defenseless people of Yemen," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Ayatollah Khamenei added, "They (the US) support the child-killer Zionist regime and regional allies which arent familiar with and dont understand elections at all."

Ayatollah Khamenei advised the Iranian officials to be wary of American officials who commit the worst possible crimes "then smile and talk to you."

The US supports Saudi Arabia which has been pounding Yemen for nearly two years amid the silence of the international community.

Saudi Arabia launched its bombing campaign against Yemen in March 2015 in an attempt to restore power to fugitive President Mansour Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

Hadi stepped down in January 2015 and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries.

Despite Riyadh's claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

The Monarchy's attacks have so far claimed the lives of at least 12,800 civilians, mostly women and children.
