MNA � Parliament Speaker Special Aide on International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with Algerian ambassador to Iran and said �instead of seriously combating terrorists, the US has relocated some of their leaders in Syria and Iraq and has provided protection for them.�


Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Iran Abdol-Monem Ahriz in Tehran.

Amir-Abdollahian referred to the growing political and parliamentary relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Algeria, and the�regional transformations and the victories in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon achieved against ISIL and terrorists, saying �unfortunately, instead of seriously combating terrorists, the US has relocated some terrorist�leaders in Syria and Iraq and has provided protection for them. The conduct adopted by the US in fighting terrorism is highly suspicious.�

Touching upon the international affairs, he�highlighted the importance of transformations in Palestine and added �Trump�s tactless remarks and his recognition of al-Quds as the capital of the illegitimate Israeli regime violate international law, although they have�led to an increase in solidarity among Palestinian groups and the enlightenment of public opinion with respect to the issue of Palestine.�

Having stressed the necessity of supporting the downtrodden people of Palestine and upholding al-Quds as a Palestinian city, Abdol-Monem Ahriz expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for fighting terrorism and asserted �maintaining security and countering terrorism is vital for all countries.�
