The Iranian Health Ministry has confirmed 25,582 COVID-19 infections and 304 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours.







Health Ministry Spokesperson Sima Lari made the announcement on Wednesday, saying that the number of total coronavirus cases in the country has so far reached 2,143,794 with the death toll standing at 65,359.

According to Lari, 4,539 patients are in critical condition while 1,739,002 patients have recovered.

So far close to 14 million tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases, she added.
