According to The Iran Project,Born in 1925, he studied in the Faculty of Literature in Tehran, majoring in English Literature, and in 1952, he obtained a Master's degree in English.

Encouraged by his father, he went to France to further his education and chose the field of Psychology of Dreams and Imagery at the Sorbonne University.

This period coincided with the August 19 coup of 1953, which led to a cut-off in government scholarships for students, and he had to take on jobs such as selling products to support himself. The difficult life in France forced him to return to Tehran, and for several years, he worked as a translator in the English and American embassies. It was during this time that he ventured into writing and translation.

He translated several prominent literary works such as "The Travels of Marco Polo”, "The Great Crusade," "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and "The Time Machine."
