The Iran Project : The foreign minister of Iran and the king of Bahrain weighed plans for collective cooperation to ensure peace in the region and prevent a spread of clashes amid the Israeli regime’s onslaught on Gaza and Lebanon.
According to The Iran Project,in a meeting in Manama on Monday evening, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa talked about the latest regional developments against a backdrop of the relentless Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.
Pointing to his broad consultations with regional countries during the past weeks, Araqchi called for the mobilization of capacities of the Islamic countries to stop the Israeli regime’s genocidal crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.
Stressing the need for concerted action to put pressure on the sponsors of the Zionist regime to end the Israeli warmongering policies, the Iranian foreign minister said the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon has become painful.
Denouncing the Israeli regime’s intentional prohibition of delivery of medicine and food stuff to Gaza and Lebanon as part of the Zionist regime’s policy of genocide, Araqchi urged cooperation among the Islamic nations to send humanitarian aids to Palestinian and Lebanese people.
For his part, the king of Bahrain praised Iran’s diplomatic efforts to protect regional peace and stability and prevent an escalation of tensions.
The king also reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to employing all capacities to prevent the spread of war and clashes in the region.
In a separate meeting in Manama, Araqchi and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani discussed the ways to combat the regional threats.
