Supplying fuel, repairs in place in Bushehr atomic power plant

BUSHEHR, Feb. 22 (MNA) The deputy-head of Irans Atomic Energy Organization has said supplying fuel and repairing Bushehr atomic power plant are in place as planned.


Mohammad Ahmadian, who was in Busheher to attend the memorial ceremony held for Bushehr nuclearpower plant martyrson Wednesday, told reporters that martyrs had important role in Revolutions victory and the consolidation of the Islamic system, and we should work hard to save their ideals.

He demanded a public lionizing of the martyrs. Martyrs are symbols of the Revolution, be believed.

Ahmadian also pointed to nuclear energy industry in the country, believing that to achieve the present level of industry, we have worked hard; we have progressed through thick and thin, and we have presented many lives, he added.

About the western propaganda that Iran would not need having nuclear industry, Ahmadian told that Iranian scientists would continue their path following the guidelines by the Supreme Leader, and never would they abandon their right to highly economically justifiable peaceful nuclear energy.

He also said that the power plant had been connected to national utility network, feeding more than 2.4 kWh of electricity into the network, and generating 7b kWh since operation.

Ahmadian also believed company operating Bushehr power plant had been highly capable. Currently, the company has high capabilities in maintenance, repairs, and operation of the power plant, he added.

The Power plant deputy of Irans Atomic Energy Organization said that the power plant had had important role in generating power. The power plant generates 20,000 mWh of electricity per day, amounting to saving 5m liters of gasoline, he said, believing that as indication that Bushehr power plant was economically justified.

He also conveyed the message by Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of Irans Atomic Energy Organization to the ceremony. In the message, Salehi believed that holding such ceremonies to uphold the martyrs of the Revolution and the memory of countrys nuclear industry martyrs was indeed a laudable act.

We should explain this historical fact for the young generations through drawing upon cultural and artistic creations, Salehi wrote in the message. The secrets behind the immortality of Islamic Iran should be sought in the valor of such warriors who blocked the way for the enemies through a human barrier, and caught the military experts and observers by surprise, continued the message.
