Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the vast majority of transactions between Russia and China are now being conducted in their national currencies, describing dedollarization as an "inevitable" process.

Today, relations between Russia and China have reached their highest level in history, and despite a challenging international situation, the relationship continues to develop, Putin said.
