Iran’s ambassador to the UN has dismissed as "groundless" claims that Tehran has trained or provided assistance for the Yemeni Ansarullah resistance forces, saying such claims lack credible technical evidence and are driven by political agendas.

A senior Iranian diplomat has condemned the latest round of airstrikes by US and British warplanes against a number of sites in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, holding Washington and London directly responsible for any “dangerous” and “unpredictable” consequences of the regional situation.

The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has praised the Yemeni nation for courageously and valorously defending the Palestinian nation amid the bloody Israeli onslaught in Gaza, stating that the people will ultimately emerge triumphant.

The new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has emphasized that the system of oppression against Muslims should be dismantled through cooperation and synergy among Islamic countries.

Iran has strongly condemned US and UK military attacks on Yemen, calling them an “arbitrary” action, a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a violation of international laws.
