The Iran Project : When the cost of producing a car is much lower than the price being sold, a question poses itself here: How do automakers present themselves as losers?
Firouz Naderi, a car expert, in an interview with The Iran Project about the loss of automobile factories in Iran, said, "The automobile industry in Iran is not unprofitable, because the cost of production is much lower than what is offered."
Our main problem in the field of car production is management weakness. It is the managers of these car factories who never present the exact expenditures, he stated.
Naderi, emphasizing that if the managers of automobile factories declare this industry as unprofitable, said that it is because their expenses are spent on matters other than the growth of automobile factories. Matters that are never talked about.
The financial expert asked how much is the cost of producing the car that is sold in the market at these prices.
The managers of the automobile industry should declare how much they spend on the production of metal and plastic parts of the cars they produce. Because the cars manufactured in Iran do not enjoy high quality, he asserted.
Referring to the remarks of the spare parts makers regarding the loss of the automobile industry, he said, "Since Iran Khodro and Saipa do not pay the parts makers, they are forced to make these allegations.
