Tehran, June 30, IRNA -- Iranian director Mehdi Nemati is staging ?Minus 2?, written by the French playwright Samuel Benchtrit, at Niavaran Hall in Tehran.
The play narrates the story of two patients, running away from hospital, and their encounter in the course of their escape.
The cast comprises of Arash Roustaiyan, Peyman Mohseni, Meysam Moheb-Elahi, Rojina Ebrahimi, Mohammad Hossein Tafreshi, Parastou Alizadeh and Ilia Afshari.
The play will remain on stage until August 1, 2014.
Veteran director Davoud Rashidi also staged an adaptation of ?Minus Two? at City Theater?s Main Hall in 2010.
Benchtrit is a promising playwright and has an instinctive mind. His first play was Comedy on a Railway Platform (2001). He also made short films, including ?Story of Tower L? and ?I Always Wanted to Be a Gangster?.
