TEHRAN July 3 (Shana)--Lavan Refinery is to boost the quality of its products to euro-4 standards by March 2015, Petroleum Ministry has said.
It said the facilitys refining capacity will be also increased by 20,000 b/d. The refinery has been treating 35,000 b/d of crude oil and 13,000 b/d of gas condensate since 2012.
The refinery is under development to produce 1.9 ml/d of gasoline, 300,000 l/d of gas oil, 200,000 liters of liquefied gas and one million liters of jet fuel. The refinery is expected to finally produce 2.8 to 3 million liters a day of gasoline, 3.9 to 4 ml/d of gas oil, 1 ml/d of jet fuel and 25 to 30 tons of granulated sulfur.
