Tehran, July 6, IRNA Ten orthodox Members of Parliament in a letter to Minister of Justice Mostafa Pour Mohammadi on Sunday called for restrictions for former President Mohammad Khatami in public.
They called the former president?s photo or image not to be distributed in public while barring him from public speech.
Member of Majlis presiding board Hojatoleslam Hossein Sobhani-nia read the letter before end of Majlis formal session on Sunday.
The MPs did not specify the legal provision how they can create restrictions on any individual.
The 10 MPs are known for negligence of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran which clarified the relationship between every individual and the governing system.
The orthodox MPs have the least knowledge about their own standing in the Iranian community and the democratic governing system established by Imam Khomeini in 1979.
They are not aware that their desire to extend their own realm in the political structure has limitations envisaged by the Constitution, the fruit of the bloods of the Iranian people who stood against monarchial dictatorship in 1979.
The orthodox MPs are illiterate enough to understand that dictatorship has been rejected by the Iranian people in 1979 and the 10-man alliance cannot create their own dictatorship.
