German FM in Vienna to join Iran nuclear talks

Vienna, July 13, IRNA German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Vienna on Sunday to join the negotiations between Iran and the West over Tehran?s nuclear program.
Steinmeier is said to start discussion with diplomats from the six world nations who are presently in Vienna for nuclear talks with Iran.
Steinmeier is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

It is said that the German foreign minister will hold another meeting with his US counterpart John Kerry who is also in Vienna, to talk about US spying on Germans.

Kerry arrived in Vienna earlier in the day and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius as well as British Foreign Secretary William Hague are also scheduled to attend the nuclear talks in Vienna.

Presence of Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has not been confirmed yet.

Foreign ministers of P5+1 member states will step into talks in Vienna to discuss the latest developments regarding drafting of the Comprehensive Agreement.

Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany, have set July 20 as the target date for reaching a final agreement under an interim deal last November.
