Tehran, Aug 12, IRNA - Secretary of Iran?s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani on Tuesday declared support for the legal process of appointment of Iraqi prime minister.
He made the remarks in his address to the annual gathering of Iranian ambassadors and diplomats abroad.
The official congratulated appointment of Heydar Al-Ebadi to the Iraqi nation, government and religious leaders.

He called on all Iraq?s political groups to be united against foreign threats.

Iran supports Iraq?s sovereignty and security, Shamkhani noted.

Iraq President Fouad Massoum has appointed Heidar al-Ebadi to form Iraqi new cabinet on Monday.
