According to a report by the UN Information Center in Tehran (UNIC), this is the second official visit of Ms. Amos to the country in her capacity as UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator. Her earlier mission occurred in September 2013.
