Tehran, Aug 24, IRNA - Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi on Sunday criticized manipulation of human rights by the US administration.Referring to Tehran?s diplomatic efforts in support of Gazan people, he noted that Iran would continue its support for the Palestinians.
US support for Israeli crimes against Gazan people and its targeted racist policies against Afro-American people showed the fact that human rights is just a political tool in hands of Whitehouse officials, Boroujerdi said.
Israel with the political support of the US has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for more than a month, killing over 2,000 people and injuring more than 10,000 others.
In the meantime, discrimination against blacks continues in the US. Murder of an Afro-American young man named Michael Brown on a street by a white police officer in the town of Ferguson caused several demonstrations. Protestors have called for justice in Michaels case.
