Tehran - Chairman of Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Tuesday Iranian Members of Parliament are waiting for Egyptian government's permission to depart for Gaza.
He told IRNA that Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is negotiating with his Egyptian counterpart in this regard.
"As the only way to Gaza passes through Rafah border with Egypt, we need the Egyptian government's permission to go to Gaza," Broujerdi said.
He said Majlis will forward list of the MPs after Egypt's permit.
"Members of the parliamentary commission on national security and foreign policy will visit Gaza Strip to support Islamic resistance and to especially visit the families of the martyrs and those maimed in Israeli air strikes," the lawmaker added.
He described the Zionist regime's aggression on Gaza Strip as a strategic error, because Tel Aviv regime is dreaming that resistance to occupation got weaker after the Syrian crisis.
