Plane carrying Americans leaves for Dubai after being diverted to Iran
A chartered aircraft carrying about 100 Americans from the U.S. airbase at Bagram, Afghanistan, has left for Dubai after it was diverted to Iran because of issues with its flight plan, a U.S. official and the Fly Dubai airline said on Friday.

President Rouhani off to Mashhad
President Hassan Rouhani, heading his cabinet members, traveled to Mashhad, in the northeastern Khorasan Razavi province, on his eight provincial tour on Saturday.

Failure to receive visa extension for a group of the Iranian university students in Norway was resolved and the remaining students will get extension for their visa in the future with the Iranian diplomatic efforts, a senior official at the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

 
Rouhani due in Tajikistan Tuesday to attend SCO summit, inaugurate Sangtoudeh-II power plant
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is due to arrive in Tajikistan on Tuesday to hold talks with senior Tajik officials, take part in the upcoming summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and also participate in the inauguration ceremony of Phase-II of Sangtoudeh-II Dam and Power Plant which has been constructed through Irans major partnership.
