Deputy Foreign Minister for Afro-Arab Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said here on Tuesday that Iran supportsthe political agreement between the Yemeni president and the opposition.Speaking to IRNA, Amir-Abdollahian advised all Yemeni belligerent sides to exercise self-restraint, remain committed to the political agreement and continue the national dialogue aimed at accomplishing the political process in that country.
He underscored that the Yemeni people will not let the Takfiri terrorists mislead their public demands to extremism and violence.
The Islamic Republic of Iran fully supports an independent, united, stable and secure Yemen in which all parties are committed to political reconciliation, he said.
