TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian men an women Wushu fighters showed an excellent performance at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games on Wednesday morning, and won a gold and a silver medal, while Iran's female rowing team won a bronze medal.Iranian Wushu fighter Mohsen Mohammad Seifi won a gold medal in the competitions underway in Incheon, South Korea, on Wednesday.
Seifi knocked out his Kazakh opponent in the -65kg category of the Sanda section in two rounds and stood at the first spot of the competitions.
Seifi had also won the gold medal of Gwangju Asian games four years ago.
Also, Elaheh Mansourian of Iran's female team won a silver for her country after she was knocked out by her Chinese opponent in the -54kg category. she had won a bronze medal in Gwangju Asian games in China four years ago.
Meantime, the national Iranian women's rowing team won a bronze medal for the country. Chinese and vietnamese stood at the first and second spots.
The 17th Asian Games in Incheon are underway in South Korea from September 19 to October 1, 2014. Irans squad consists of 282 athletes of which 224 are men and 58 are women.
