
Providing food security for member countries is said to top the main agenda of the meeting.
The Moscow meeting is scheduled to kick off on Thursday in the presence of the six SCO member countries, namely, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as the five observer countries Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Mongolia.
This is the first time that the observer members are attending the meeting.
A delegation of private sector activists in the field of agriculture are accompanying Hojjati in the visit.
