TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian embassy in Paris in a statement on Saturday rejected some media reports alleging the country's Ambassador to France Ali Ahani has participated in a forum organized in cooperation with a Zionist newspaper.


"Ali Ahani visited Lille Political Science Institute on April 9, 2013, at the invitation of the Millennium Students Club Association of the Lille and held a meeting with the director of the institute and addressed the students there," the statement said.

He elaborated on Iran's views on the Middle-East developments and responded to the participants' questions.

The statement added that Ahani participated in the forum at the invitation of Didier Billion, the Deputy Director of IRIS institute in France, and was welcomed by the students.

"The visit had no relation with a newspaper named the Voice of North that is called a Zionist newspaper and its correspondence and the news report released in this regard is entirely voice of reality," it underlined.
