Geneva, Oct 15, IRNA Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said in Geneva on Wednesday that some of the US proposals in nuclear talks are far-reaching.
Speaking to IRNA at a press conference on the sidelines of the 131st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, Larijani said in nuclear talks, the issues raised by the Islamic Republic of Iran and the G5+1 are fully clear and we need not to cover up our concern with the proposals.
He said if the western governments are trying to say that Iran should not go in the direction to produce nuclear arms, they should follow a specified and clear way and some proposals they put forward are far reaching.
"Accord on Iran nuclear issues will be to benefit of all and will have the capacity to help resolve the crisis about stability of the region."
Recommending the US to follow a definite method of action, Larijani said, "One should know that in view of the regional crisis, the time is critical for the regional states."
He said there are points in talks which should be taken into consideration. "Iran is not after producing arms as was declared time and again."
