TEHRAN (Tasnim) A parliamentary delegation from Hungary is scheduled to pay an official visit to Iran on Monday.
The Hungarian team, to be led by the vice speaker of the European countrys national assembly, will arrive in Tehran on October 20 at the invitation of Vice-Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Seyed Mohammad Hassan Abu Torabifard.
During their 5-day stay in Iran, the Hungarian lawmakers will hold meetings with a number of senior Iranian parliamentarians and diplomats for talks on the bilateral issues.
Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe. It is situated in the Carpathian Basin and is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Ukraine and Romania to the east, Serbia and Croatia to the south, Slovenia to the southwest and Austria to the west.
