MP urges G5+1 to give up political approach towards Iran
Ardakan, Yazd Prov, IRNA Reformist member of Iran's Majlis (parliament) on Saturday called on G5+1 to give up political approach towards Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
Head of Majlis Environment Faction Mohammad Reza Tabesh made the remarks on the sidelines of his visit to the Ardakan Uranium Production Plant.
Result of nuclear talks will not affect the nation's loyalty to the Islamic Revolution, he added.

The MP criticized big powers' illegal demands and said Tehran will not accept demands beyond its rights enshrined in the NPT.

According to reports released by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and even the intelligence agencies of the US and its allies, Iran has not pursued a military nuclear program and its activities are under full supervision of the UN nuclear watch dog, he noted.

Iran and the six major world powers ended their 8th round of nuclear negotiations in Vienna on October 23.

The 7th round of the talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 was held in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting last month.

The two sides held six rounds of negotiations in Vienna to reach a comprehensive deal after they inked an interim agreement in Geneva on November 24.

The Geneva agreement took effect on January 20 and expired six months later on July 20. In July, Tehran and the six countries agreed to extend negotiations until November 24 after they failed to reach an agreement on a number of key issues.
