Bojnourd, North Khorassan Prov., Nov 10, IRNA � Head of the Department of Environment Masoomeh Ebtekar said on Monday that Iran and Turkmenistan will establish a protected park in North Khorassan Province.
Ebtekar told a group of officials in North Khorassan Province that feasibility work on the project has been done under an agreement reached between Iran and Turkmenistan.
She said her office is ready for any kind of cooperation to expedite the project for establishing a joint protected park with Turkmenistan.

She went on to say that protection of environment and natural resources is necessary to protect social health and any negligiance in this connection would entail irreparable damage for human health.

Due to inattention to environment protection and wild life many animal species in the nature are on verge of extinction, she warned.
