TEHRAN (FNA)- Deputy Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Yaghmour Qolizadeh said that the country is resolved to establish regular shipping lines from Iranian ports to worldwide destinations to pave the ground for an increase in its exports.
"Regular shipping lines will be established to increase exports," said the official, adding the country's exports rose by 19.6 percent comparing to last Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2014).
"Iran's exports to Europe rose by 33 percent in the first six months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 21)."
He said the country is seeking member ship in the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Iranian officials, on many occasions, have voiced their willingness to utilize each and every capacity and potential in the country to expand exports of home-made commodities to the international markets.
