UK, French FMs to return to Vienna for talks on Iran
On Saturday, UK and French foreign policy chiefs left Vienna for consultations.


VIENNA, November 23 (Sputnik) UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will return toVienna onSunday tocontinue consultations onIraniannuclear program, a source told RIA Novosti onSunday.

UK, French Foreign Ministers will be returning toVienna onSunday, the source said.

On Saturday, the ministers left Vienna forconsultations. When leaving his hotel, Hammond stated that serious divergences ofopinion betweenTehran and international mediators still remain.

Earlier inthe day, a source inthe Russian delegation told RIA Novosti that Russian Foreign MinisterSergei Lavrovwill be arriving inVienna onSunday, too.

The final roundof Tehran's talks withthe group ofsix world powers comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and Germany, kicked offin Vienna onTuesday.

Thedeadlinetoreach an agreement guaranteeing a peaceful nature ofIranian nuclear program is set forNovember 24, 2014.

The West has accused Iran ofattempting todevelop nuclear weapons underthe guise ofa civilian nuclear program claims Tehran has denied. During talks held inGeneva inNovember 2013, the P5+1 group ofinternational mediators and Tehran agreed toreach a deal ensuring peaceful status ofIranian nuclear program byJuly 2014, however the deadline was later postponed toNovember.
