Baku, Dec 2, IRNA Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said on Tuesday that Iran is willing to develop regional cooperation for the betterment of Internet services and providing wideband.
Vaezi who is in Baku to take part in Bakutel Internet Conference said that Bakutel has created an opportunity for regional multilateral cooperation to offer services and export ICT products.
Inviting Azerbaijani businessmen and economic activists for further cooperation, he added that Iran and Azerbaijan should work together for the economic prosperity and mutual confidence among the nations.
'I believe that unity among the countries can help promote information technology and communications and indigenize technologies in conformity with the nations' cultures,' he said.
Vaezi said that Iran has planned to set up national information network, adding that the network will help promote quality of Internet services to people.
