London, Dec 4, IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister in Asia and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour, heading a delegation, arrived in London on Wednesday to attend an international conference on Afghanistan.
The DyFM will deliver a speech in the conference on Thursday and have meetings with participating delegations.
Fight with terrorism and increasing security in Afghanistan, fight against production and smuggling of illegal drugs, considering issues related to Afghan immigrants, increasing regional cooperation and development of investment in the country are among issues to be discussed by the delegations.
The Iranian delegation will also pay special attention to issues such as strengthening cooperation and bilateral ties between Tehran and Kabul, assisting Afghanistan government in fight against existing challenges and strengthening private sector in the country.
In the conference, officials from over 60 countries and over 20 international organizations will participate.
The conference will be officially inaugurated on Thursday December 4, 2014 in London.
