Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA In a surprise visit to a 70% war disabled veteran, President Hassan Rouhani ensured him that the Iranian nuclear negotiating team has thus far pursued the talks within the framework of systems basics and will continue on same path.
Although we have a tough path to pave in the negotiations, because the enemies of the nation cannot be trusted and the westerners have been urged to come to the negotiation table today, but in this tough and highly windy road relying on doubly intensified efforts we will achieve our goals, said President Rouhani.
The president who had come to visit Ali Owsat Vakili who has lost his eye sight defending his country praised his endeavor, arguing, You lost your eyes in Gods way, and He will award you in this world and the Hereafter.
Vakili who lost both of his eyes during the Iran-Iraq war in the year 1983 also received a plaque of honor from the president.
President Rouhani was accompanied by the head of the Martyrs Foundation and the Presidents Special Advisior Hossein Fereidoun.
