TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran plans to establish the largest port in the Middle East with sports and welfare facilities in Noshahr City, Mazandaran Province, northern Iran.
The port needs roughly $400 million financing and is 135.000 square meter large. 35.000 square meter of which for financial and trade activities, 70.000 for residential places in the form of five-star hotels and a 6-hectare dock for berthing 350 small and large boats as well as a multi-purpose wharf with sports and entertainment facilities.
The project also includes cultivation of 20.000 tons of fish.
