Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA Deputy head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) in Planning and Strategic Supervision Affairs said the organization gives priority to the needs of medicine and agriculture.
In a live TV program on Monday, Hossein Khalafi said IAEO tries to give more nuclear industry services to the public.
He added after great success in uranium enrichment by using industrial centrifuges, the know-how is being used to produce vaccines needed by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.
The new machines equipped with control systems and automatically controlled temperature and vibration, which affect quality of production process.
Referring to other nuclear achievements in the country in recent years, Khalafi said IAEO's experts, in cooperation with researchers of Jihad Agricultural Ministry and Pasteur Institute of Iran, have achieved know-how of vaccine production for 'Foot-and-Mouth' and ' White Spot' diseases.
