Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh heading a delegation left Tehran for Muscat on Monday to partake in the 15th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Commission.
During the visit, the Iranian delegation is to inaugurate Iranian exclusive trade fair in Muscat.
During the three-day stay, the Iranian minister and his entourage will confer with the Omani high-ranking officials on issues of mutual interests.
Meanwhile, Nematzadeh is due to meet with Oman's premier, minister of commerce and industry and other senior officials.
Representative from Iran's private sector are accompanying the Iranian delegation as the joint meeting is to explore investment and business opportunities.
In the 15th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Commission, the two sides will examine various grounds for expansion of mutual cooperation and removal of existing barriers.
