Tehran, Jan 6, IRNA � Visiting President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al Madani conferred on Tuesday with the Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Ali Tayyebnia on expansion of technical and financial cooperation.
��The two officials discussed removal of existing hurdles and studied avenues to bolster and broaden financial cooperation between the two sides.
'We regard you as an Iranian citizen and close friend with affinity with the Iranian nation and your Excellency are truly such an example,' Tayyebnia said.

A working group is currently mulling the mechanism to speed up implementing the joint development projects between Iran and IDB, he said.

He expressed the hope that the existing problems to be removed at the earliest and the Iranian companies and projects would make use of IDB services more than before.

The two sides should focus on practical projects and skip from the non-practical ones, he said.
