Doha, Jan 11, IRNA Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari said on Sunday that his country will take part in upcoming Tehran International Book Fair slated for May.
Head of Doha Book Fair Abdullah al-Ansari also announced active presence of Qatar in the event on the third day of ongoing fair in the Qatari capital.
Both Qatari officials visited pavilion of the Institute for Cultural Exhibitions which represent Iran in Doha Book Fair.
Managing director of the institute Amir Masoud Shahramnia welcomed Qatar to take part in the 28th Tehran International Book Fair.
Al-Kuwari thanked the Iranian official for his invitation, saying that he is planning a trip t to Iran concurrent with upcoming book fair.
Describing Iranian culture as very significant and valuable for Qataris, he called for further cultural exchanges between the tow countries.
The 25th Doha International Book Fair is ongoing and will continue until January 17.
