TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian legendary striker Ali Daei will attend the 2015 AFC Asian Cup final match between host Australia and South Korea.The match will be held in Sydney on Saturday.
I would like to see Iran in the final, however, I think our team had a good performance in the competition, Daei said.
The Iranian football team was knocked out of the Asian Cup after being beaten by Iraq 7-6 on penalties in the quarter-final.
Irans Alireza Faghani has been chosen to referee the match. The 36-year-old ref will be assisted by his compatriots Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Reza Abolfazli.
