Iran's first VP meets Head of Iraqi Supreme Council Seyed Ammar Hakim in Baghdad[/caption]Baghdad, Feb 17, IRNA First Vice-President Es'haq Jahangiri , who is in Baghdad, met Head of Iraqi Supreme Council Seyed Ammar Hakim here on Tuesday.
Also present in the meeting, which took place in the Iraqi Supreme Council building, were Iranian Minister of Economic and Finance Ali Tayyebnia, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Seyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Ne'matzadeh, Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati and Housing and Urban Planning Minister Abbas Akhundi.
Vice-President for parliamentary Affairs Hojjatoleslam Majid Ansari, Vice-President and Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Masoud Soltanifar, Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeifar and Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdullahian also attended the meeting.
The two sides discussed current situations in Iraq and region as well as bilateral relations.
Later , Jahangiri and his companions attended a launcheon given in their honor the Iraqi Shia Coalition.
