Irans exports rise by 22 percent

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Head of Iranian Trade Development Organization Waliollah Afkhami-Rad said the countrys exports over the first 11 months of Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2014) totaled $46.300 billion, which rose by 22 percent comparing to similar period last year.

He further said that Irans trading during the said period reached $94.5 billion, which would raise by $110 billion if service exports are added.

The Iranian trade official continued Irans exports during the first ten months of Iranian calendar year reached $42.6 billion which would increase to $52 billion if services exports are considered. The amount rose by 27 percent comparing to similar period last year.

Iranian exports included propane, polyethylene, butane, pistachio, ethanol, sour and cement which were mainly sent to China, Iraq, the UAE, Afghanistan and India.

Irans trading with Asia included 92 percent of its entire trading. Europe and Africas share of Iranian exports hit respectively 5 and 2.1 percent.
