A Russian military source reported that Moscow is mulling the option of offering Tehran S-400 sophisticated system as an alternative in case the latter rejected Antey-2500 system which was suggested by Russia to replace S-300, according to RT.
Komersant Russian newspaper quoted the source as saying that Moscow is still unsure whether Iran will purchase Antey-2500 system.
The Russian sources added that Iran would prefer S-400 to Antey-2500, hinting that will not strike the deal with Iran before Tehran drops the lawsuit it filed at Geneva court in Switzerland against the Russian company which halted S-300 accord.
