TEHRAN, Mar. 01 (MNA) Iranian Foreign Minister heading the negotiating team will leave for the Swiss city of Montreux tomorrow morning.

Deputy foreign ministers Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi as well as a number of other political bodies and experts will be accompanying Zarif on this trip.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi had mentioned in an interview during the last week negotiations in Geneva that he would be present in this round of talks as well.

According to the report, the negotiations will first begin at the deputy level and then followed up by talks between the foreign ministers.

Also, the European Union has earlier announced Iran and 5+1 nuclear talks will take place on Thursday March 5 at the deputy level.

Iran and 5+1 deputy ministers are also due to hold bilateral and multilateral meetings during this round of talks.

Iran and the US held an extensive round of talks last week in Geneva. In addition to talks between deputies of both countries as well as the other 5 states, Ali Akbar Salehi met with United States Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz which led to a great number of analyses on the progress of negotiations in the western media.

It has been said the Geneva negotiations last week has achieved some considerable progress at the technical level. Mohamad Javad Zarif touched upon this issue during his joint press conference with Italian counterpart on Saturday, stressing that while the technical issues were proceeding smoothly, the differences on the issue of sanctions still remained.

The next round of nuclear talks will kick off in Montreux tomorrow and probably continue until Friday.
