The Iranian authorities have announced their plans for space exploration in the coming year. Thus, the head of the Iranian Space Agency Hamid Fazeli said that the industry of the country has produced the new satellites "Nahid", "Out Sat" and "Sharif Sat", which will be launched in the first half of 2013.
Fazeli said that the engineering model "Nahid" will be presented on the National Day of Space Technology on February 2, IRNA reports.
The "Out Sat" satellite, weighing 70-80 kg and created by specialists of the Industrial University "Sanat-and Sharif", will operate in Earth orbit, researching it for agricultural needs.
