TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran categorically blasted the United Nations special rapporteur on Iran, saying that the report is not presenting realities.

His remarks and parts of the report have been presented unilaterally without considering the realities. It also does not follow rules of the UN Human Rights Council agents, said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham.

She also said Iran is skeptical about the unfair and subjective performance of the UN special rapporteur in terms of not following international rules and regulations.

She further noted, The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully aware of its national and international obligations on human rights, and has made good and expansive cooperation with international mechanisms on this field.

Afkham continued that Iran has improved rights of citizenship, minorities and woman, and would keep on its efforts.
