Ilam prov, March 15, IRNA Senior member of parliament Alaeddin Boroujerdi said Sunday that coming closer to reach a nuclear deal between Iran and the six governments Known as the P5+1 has further concerned the Zionist lobby.

Speaking to IRNA, Boroujerdi said that with increased chances for reaching a deal, particularly after the US secretary of energy entered the talks to help resolve the technical aspects of the negotiations, Zionist Lobby began their efforts in the US Congress to torpedo the talks.

Boroujerdi, the head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that writing a letter by 47 US congresspersons was signaling deep concern of Zionist lobby over Iran nuclear talks.

Asked how much this lobby is capable of hampering the nuclear deal, Boroujerdi said that a possible deal cannot be affected by a letter of US congresspersons or efforts of Zionist lobby.

He said that under the international conventions, when a deal is stricken, the United Nations Security Council is required to endorse it.
