Tehran, March 20, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a message on Friday extended his condolences to President Hassan Rouhani over death of his mother.




In the message, the Supreme Leader condoled the death of president's mother and prayed for patience of the bereaved families.

Also Head of Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani expressed their condolences to President Rouhani.

In another development, US Secretary of State John Kerry and US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz voiced their sympathy to member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team Hossein Fereidon (president's brother) on the death of his mother.
