TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ground Force have managed to disband a terrorist cell in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan on Monday morning, the Quds Base of IRGC Ground Force announced.
A terrorist cell affiliated with foreign espionage services was disbanded on Monday morning in Qasr-e Qand and Nikshahr counties southeast of Iran in a decisive operation by IRGC forces, a statement released by the Quds Force�s public relations department said on Monday.
The operation was carried out after a series of reconnaissance and chasing operations in recent days, the statement said, adding that all members of the team were killed and a significant amount of weapons, ammunition and communication equipment were confiscated.
Earlier in February, Iran�s intelligence ministry announced that it has disbanded another terrorist cell in Sistan and Balouchestan and seized 350 kilograms of explosives.
