Madrid, April 13, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is to make an official visit to Madrid on Tuesday and confer with Spanish high-ranking officials.
He is also scheduled to address foreign ambassadors in Madrid.
According to Iranian Embassy in Spain, Zarif will meet and confer with Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, Speaker of Congress of Deputies Jesus Posada, and Minister of Economy and Competitiveness Luis de Guindos.
Zarif will also address Spanish political, economic, and media elites as well as the diplomatic corps in Madrid at America House.
An Iranian diplomat in Madrid said relations between Iran and Spain will develop dramatically after the removal of sanctions.
Spain was elected as the non-permanent member of UN Security Council last January and chairs Iran Sanctions Committee at the Security Council.
