Russia may permit the delivery of meat and cheese from Iran, paving the way for a barter deal to exchange grain for dairy, fish and meat products.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) � Russia plans to approve a list of Iranian cheese and meat suppliers, deputy head of Russia�s agriculture watchdog Alexei Alexeyenko said Monday.

�At talks in Tehran we discussed a possible deal to exchange [Russian] grain for meat or fish or cheese [from Iran]. It would be a barter deal.�
